Business Development Manager

Based in Calgary, Denver, or Houston, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining a solid account base of industrial SaaS customers to meet corporate sales and growth objectives. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and relationships in industrial or commercial construction, commissioning services and/or completions management.

Accountable directly to the President and working as part of a dynamic team, the responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities for Corsarius solutions and services in Canada and the US.
  • Collaborating internally to help develop and execute business plans, identify target markets, customers and competitive offerings.
  • Developing and executing overall client pursuit and maintenance strategies, conducting sales results analysis to revise and improve future results.
  • Interfacing directly with potential clients to develop relationships, understand needs, present solutions and provide product demonstrations.
  • Continuous collection of client feedback to improve and differentiate software.
  • Assisting with the development of proposals and with overall proposal strategy development.
  • Maintaining up to date client, contact and opportunity records in CRM.
  • Participating in regular sales meetings with other sales staff and management.
  • Assisting with customer focused marketing events including user group meetings, conferences, tradeshows, etc.
  • Providing input to create effective demand generation and sales material for sales pursuits.

Your primary responsibility will be to generate profitable sales and revenue for Corsarius Solutions Inc.

You will be required to travel to interface with clients to understand market opportunities and client requirements. You will champion a number of existing clients, take initiative and work independently to attract and grow new clients for Corsarius. Strong business acumen and solid understanding of the technologies and services delivered by Corsarius will be required to achieve success.

Technical Qualifications

  • A degree, diploma or trade certificate related to industrial construction, commissioning or maintenance, combined with an in-depth understanding of related markets.
  • A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with demonstrated success in new account and / or new sales territory development.
  • Experience selling SaaS products in a B2B environment with a proven ability to develop and maintain long term client relationships.
